KU Children’s Services – Intercome Access Control System

IMG Electrical & Communications was engaged by the KU Children’s Services to design & construct an access control system based on intercom units. The system is designed for schoolteachers to help manage the external traffic such as parents entering the building during school hours and help them maintain attention to the children.

The main entrance of the school was equipped with 2-way communication income panels with inception panels located throughout the school so the teachers could communicate and allow access to parents arriving to drop off or pick up kids from the school remotely.

IMG designed, managed construction, and commissioned the system with a at site handover to the school staff.
